The Canon EOS 3000D is a powerful DSLR ideal for both picture and video shooting that blends a stylish appearance with necessary features. With 3 fps continuous shooting, up to Full HD 30p video recording, and remarkable picture clarity and sensitivity, the tried-and-true 18MP sensor design gives all of these features. Additionally, the well-known DSLR design has an optical viewfinder for crisp, easy viewing, a back LCD, and built-in Wi-Fi for sharing while on the road.

Image Sensor and Shooting Modes

18MP APS-C CMOS Sensor and DIGIC Processing
An 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC processor power the Rebel T100, delivering both speed and picture quality for both stills and videos. Up to 6 consecutive raw frames or up to 3 fps continuous shooting for unrestricted JPEGs can be used to capture moving subjects. The sensor and processor also make it possible to operate in a variety of lighting situations, and the ISO 100–6400 sensitivity range may be increased to ISO 12800 for photography in particularly low light.

Full HD Video Recording

In addition to taking still photos, the Rebel T100 can also record HD, SD, and Full HD videos at 30p, 60p, and 30p, respectively. Audio recording is handled by the integrated monaural microphone, and contrast-detection focusing is possible during recording.

Shooting Modes

• Scene Intelligent Auto mode intelligently selects the appropriate camera settings based on recognized scene types for accurate exposures.
• A Feature Guide helps to familiarize one with the various camera features and displays short descriptions of shooting modes, settings, and effects for easy operation.
• Basic+ and Creative Auto modes simplify the process of achieving certain creative looks.
• Creative Filters allow you to refine the look of imagery in-camera, and include Toy Camera, Fisheye, and Miniature Effect, among others.
• Video Snapshot lets you capture short 2, 4, or 8-second video clips then automatically compile them into a single video file for playback similar to a highlight reel.

The 9-point phase-detection technology, which includes a single cross-type point in the centre to provide even greater focusing precision while working in mixed and low-contrast lighting circumstances, helps you focus fast and precisely. Additionally, this AF system benefits from an AI Servo AF mechanism for dependable tracking performance when monitoring moving subjects.

Body Design and Wireless Connectivity

EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens

The EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II lens, a flexible standard zoom with a 28.8-88mm equivalent focal length range and an extremely small profile, is included with the camera body. This lens is perfect for travel and ordinary walkaround shooting. The optical image stabiliser decreases the impression of camera motion for crisper handheld photography, and the lens has a specific element to prevent distortion and retain a high level of clarity.
