Take the next step into full-frame photography with the Canon EOS 6D Mark II DSLR Camera, which is offered here with the EF 24-105mm f/4 IS II USM Lens. The 6D Mark II improves upon every element of picture capture and production over its predecessor by making high-performance full-frame photography more affordable. The 26.2MP CMOS sensor and usage of the DIGIC 7 Image Processor, which produces crisper, more vibrant picture in a range of shooting scenarios, are the key updates. With this arrangement, you can shoot at up to 6.5 frames per second while also benefiting from an increased native sensitivity range of ISO 100-40000 that can be expanded to ISO 50-102400.

A 45-point all-cross type AF system that can accurately follow subjects ensures that your pictures are razor sharp. This represents a substantial advancement over its predecessor and will speed up your subject's acquisition. The sensor has Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology in addition to an improved autofocus mechanism to improve focusing during live view and video capture, which has been upgraded to Full HD at 60p. The 3.0" 1.04m-dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD, which allows operation at different angles and with simple controls, works well with this system.

For photographers who combine stills and video, you'll like the improved video quality and the 3.5mm input's capacity to connect an external microphone. With specific settings and modes, users will also be able to produce HDR and 4K time-lapse videos. Additionally, the body design has been upgraded with better durability, ergonomics, and water and dust resistance. Additionally, users will have access to a wide range of connection choices, including Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth for connecting to smart devices, as well as built-in GPS for geotagging photographs.

The EF 24-105mm f/4 IS II USM Lens, a flexible and effective optic, is included with the camera body. This arrangement offers a constant f/4 maximum aperture for reliable performance and a wide-angle to telephoto zoom range that will cover the majority of common subject matter with ease. For quick, precise focusing performance, the lens also has image stabilisation and a quick, nearly quiet ring-type USM AF motor.

26.2MP Full-Frame CMOS Sensor and DIGIC 7 Image Processor

The 6D Mark II employs a newly built 26.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor in conjunction with a DIGIC 7 Image Processor to produce clear, vibrant images and video, improving both resolution and low-light performance. With a natural sensitivity range of ISO 100–4000 and the option to increase it to ISO 50–102400, this helps to produce outstanding performance in low light.

A 7560-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor that helps reduce the influence of flashing lights in your photographs and provides precise reading of the whole scene aids in the acquisition of correctly exposed images.

45-Point All-Cross Type AF and Dual Pixel CMOS AF Systems

The 6D Mark II features an all-cross type AF system with 45 phase-detect points for precise tracking and focusing while using the optical finder for still photos, ensuring that your subject is razor sharp. With a maximum of 27 points, this AF system can work with a variety of lenses that have a maximum aperture of f/8 or lower and can function in illumination circumstances as low as -3 EV. Additionally, there are five distinct AF area selection modes available for tailoring performance to your subject matter.

Now, Dual Pixel CMOS AF on the image sensor may be used when utilising Live View and filming video. It provides extensive phase-detection autofocus coverage for quicker and more precise focusing in various settings. Users will benefit from smoother rack focusing without the drawbacks typically associated with contrast-based systems, making it perfect for video. Additionally, this integrates nicely with touchscreen capabilities, enabling shooters to just tap to change focus.

Full HD Video Recording

The 6D Mark II offers robust Full HD video recording possibilities for creating multimedia. When recording Full HD video, the 6D Mark II boasts faster performance with a maximum frame rate of 60p. Additionally, it has 5-axis image stabilisation with Digital IS to lessen the appearance of camera wobble for handheld photography that is clearer. This makes it easier to record while moving and can be used with lenses that provide optical image stabilisation for even better overall stability. High-quality audio is also available, and a 3.5mm input allows for the usage of either the built-in microphone or an external microphone.

Body Design

  • A large 3.0" 1.04m-dot vari-angle LCD monitor is available for bright, vivid image playback and live view shooting, and its touchscreen interface features an anti-smudge design and can be used for intuitive touch-to-focus control and adjusting settings in the menus.
  • A single SD card slot is available for saving photos and video.
  • Optical viewfinder offers approximately 98% coverage of the frame and has a magnification of 0.71x.
  • The durable body design is dust- and weather-sealed to permit working in harsh environments.

Other Camera Features

  • A built-in GPS module allows you to geotag imagery in-camera as well as auto time sync with the Universal Time Code via satellites. This module is compatible with American GPS, Russian GLONASS, and Japanese quasi-zenith Michibiki satellites for a wide coverage of support.
  • A built-in intervalometer permits the creation of UHD 4K time-lapse imagery and supports recording consecutive frames in pre-selected intervals.
  • Bluetooth permits linking a smartphone or tablet for quick image sharing between devices as well as remote control capabilities.
  • Built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity enable wireless sharing, control, and image transfer with a compatible smart device as well as the CS100 Connect Station.
