FUJIFILM X-T3 is a flexible mirrorless camera for videographers and action photographers with high-speed performance, capable photography, and multimedia flexibility. High-resolution stills and 4K video can be recorded utilising a new image sensor and processor, and an accurate autofocus mechanism allows for speedy focussing. The 26.1MP APS-C-format X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor boasts a back-illuminated design to improve image quality across the sensitivity range and a 2.16m-point phase-detection autofocus system for fast, accurate AF and subject tracking. The X-Processor 4 uses four CPUs for faster picture processing, continuous shooting at 11 fps with a mechanical shutter, 30 fps at a 1.25x crop with an electronic shutter, and inbuilt 4K60p 10-bit video recording.
The X-T3 has a new OLED electronic viewfinder with 3.69m-dot resolution and 0.75x magnification, but its traditional style and tactile controls remain. This finder boasts a 100 fps refresh rate for fluid viewing and is blackout-free at 30 fps. A special Sports Finder Mode emphasises the 16.6MP crop area to help you spot moving subjects. Live view shooting and greater image playback are also possible with a rear 3.2" 1.04m-dot LCD panel. The X-T3 has built-in Bluetooth for wireless sharing and remote control, and its magnesium alloy body is weather-sealed for operating in harsh circumstances.
26.1MP APS-C X-Trans BSI CMOS 4 Sensor and X-Processor 4
The X-T3 has a newly developed 26.1MP APS-C-format X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with back-illumination for smooth tonal rendition, better low-light performance, and a native ISO 160 setting. As an X-Trans sensor, it still utilises the randomised pixel array, too, which delivers a high degree of image clarity and sharpness due to the removal of an optical low-pass filter. X-Trans pixels emulate film's organic character to provide subtle colours and tonal transitions and reduce moiré and aliasing.
An enhanced phase-detection autofocus system with 2,160,000 points covers practically the whole sensor. This AF system is faster, more precise, and sensitive to EV -3. An upgraded X-Processor 4 improves subject tracking and offers Face- and Eye-Detection AF in AF-C mode and when recording video.
The X-Processor 4 has four CPU units for speedier image processing and 0.06-second AF capabilities. 0.17-second shooting intervals, 0.045-second shutter lag, and 0.3-second start-up. Internal UHD 4K60 video recording with 10-bit output and 11 fps mechanical shutter or 30 fps electronic shutter and 1.25x crop are supported.
UHD and DCI 4K Video Recording
The X-T3 is more than a stills camera, including internal UHD 4K60p video recording at 4:2:0 10-bit and HDMI output at up to 400 Mb/s. It can also record both internally and externally. DCI 4K30 and Full HD 1080p120 recordings can be saved in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 or HEVC/H.265 compression. The quad-CPU X-Processor 4's 17 ms read rates for recording 4K60 footage eliminate rolling shutter distortion when filming moving subjects, improving video performance.
With addition to the offered 10-bit colour depth, the X-T3 also has the F-Log gamma option, which produces a flat picture for use in advanced colour grading applications during editing. This maximises dynamic range in tough conditions and allows image modifications to highlight, shadow, colour, and sharpness. F-Log contains a new noise reduction algorithm, 4K inter-frame noise reduction, and a lower minimum sensitivity of ISO 640 for a wider range of scenes.
For improved audio, the camera has 3.5mm microphone and headphone jacks.
Film Simulation and Grain Effect Modes
Fujifilm's X-T3 includes many Film Simulation settings. Eterna, Acros, and Vintage Chrome emulate Fujifilm's classic film types, including cinematic film with understated hues and richer shadow tones, smooth tones, deep blacks, and fine detail. Other monochrome and colour effects are available. Grain Effect option simulates antique film images with an organic textured effect, especially when printed.

The FUJIFILM XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS, a 27-84mm-equivalent standard zoom for X-mount mirrorless cameras, combines versatility, quickness, and a sleek design. Its bright f/2.8-4 maximum aperture range works well in low-light circumstances and reduces the lens' size and weight. Three aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element suppress spherical and chromatic aberrations to increase sharpness and clarity with this zoom. In intense lighting, Super EBC coatings reduce flare and ghosting, improving contrast and colour neutrality. A linear motor provides fast, quiet autofocus, and a five-stop image stabilisation system reduces camera shake.
