DESCRIPTION
The Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AF II is a versatile, well-rounded wide-angle lens for Sony E-mount cameras because it combines a traditional focal length with a quick aperture. Due to its array of cutting edge features, full-frame coverage, and programmable controls, it excels in all photographic and video tasks, from street photography to landscape and video work.
With its updated autofocus system, which prevents the filter ring and lens barrel from rotating while focusing, the lens' overall length is maintained while in use. Working with graduated ND filters and circular polarizers is facilitated by this. Silent and accurate operation is achieved using a linear stepping motor. The built-in switch has a full-time focus override feature and enables you to control aperture using the focus ring.
Samyang designed this lens with two high refractive index elements, two aspherical elements, and two aspherical elements to help control spherical aberrations and distortions for enhanced sharpness, resolution, and clarity.
To prevent dust and moisture, the physical design has weather-sealed construction. A nine-blade rounded diaphragm adds to the pleasing bokeh effect.
