DESCRIPTION
The Sony E-mount AF 45mm f/1.8 FE from Samyang is a normal-length prime distinguished by its compact design and bright f/1.8 maximum aperture. It is a stylish and adaptable lens. Two aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element are used in the optical design to help reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations for better clarity, colour accuracy, and sharpness. In order to increase contrast when working in bright lighting conditions, an Ultra Multi-Coating has also been applied to reduce flare and ghosting. In addition, the lens's linear STM autofocus motor collaborates with Sony cameras' AF systems to provide quick, quiet, and accurate focusing performance. For even finer control, manual focus override is also an option.
- Compact normal-length prime is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, however can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 67.5mm equivalent focal length.
