The DJI Pocket 2 Gimbal, which offers numerous improvements over its predecessor, utilizes its lightweight, ultra-compact 3-axis gimbal stabilizer and 4K camera setup to add a 1/1.7" 64MP CMOS sensor, up to 8x zoom, a 93° angle of view, and four directional stereo microphones with DJI Matrix Stereo audio zoom. Additionally, new software updates have been made, such as ActiveTrack 3.0 which has been upgraded, motion-lapse, an AI editor, built-in glamour effects, and Hybrid AF 2.0. You can use it to make family videos, add footage to picture sessions, or vlog your most recent streaming masterpieces with smooth motion video. It has everything you need for a high-resolution mobile production.
This all-in-one device, which weighs just over four ounces, has a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer for fluid movement and simple pan-and-tilt control. The Pocket 2 features a 1/1.7" sensor and a wide 20mm, 93° angle-of-view lens to capture 64MP still photographs and cinematic 4K60 video at 100 Mb/s onto a microSD card with a storage capacity of 256GB. In addition to noise reduction and a zoom capability that matches your camera's zoom to capture enhanced audio in a closer shot, the four microphones let you record enhanced stereo audio. The zoom capabilities of the camera are 8x for still images, 4x for 1080p video and audio, 3x for 2K video, and 2x for 4K video.
With preset shooting patterns, camera motions, filters, and soundtracks, you can enhance your footage using the Mimo software from DJI and an iOS or Android smartphone. Basic editing and adding glamour effects don't even require the app, and you can easily turn on motion-lapse with just one tap. Using the app, you may live broadcast your video to the internet. The candy bar-sized Pocket 2 includes clever features like Story Mode, Active Track 3.0, hyper-lapse, panoramic, and motion-lapse to produce engaging creative effects, in contrast to a comparable-sized smartphone. To capture expansive views of a scene, choose between 180° and 3 x 3 panoramic photos.
The Pocket 2 has a passive cooling system that silently dissipates heat, and the camera can record for up to 140 minutes on a single charge. A cover, a small control stick, a tripod attachment that fits 1/4"-20 tripods, a wrist strap, a power cable, and USB Type-C and Lightning smartphone adapters are all included in the box. To complete your Pocket 2 experience, additional add-ons are sold separately and include a wide-angle lens, "Do-it-all" handle, USB splitter, tripod, wireless microphone transmitter, charging case, phone clip, and waterproof case.
