DESCRIPTION
More Power, Smaller Gimbal
In comparison to the Ronin RS 2 gimbal, the DJI RS3 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer Combo has been redesigned to be more powerful and svelte. Its carbon fiber body weighs only 3.3 lb and can support a payload of up to 10 lb. With a 24-70mm zoom lens attached, midsize cameras like the Sony FX6 or Canon C70 can be supported and stabilized by this small gimbal. The RS 3 Pro can become a crucial component of your professional camera kit thanks to its larger full-color OLED display, new fine-tuning knob, and improved stability. An updated focus motor, a motor rod mount kit with gear strip, a briefcase handle, a BG30 grip, a lower extended quick release plate, a wireless Ronin Image Transmitter, a phone holder, multiple HDMI cables, power cables, and a lens-fastening strap are among the extra necessities included in the Combo kit.
Quick Release Plates
The new Extended Lower Quick Release Plate makes it simple to install lens support for safe settings and guarantees more stable camera mounting.
Automated Axis Locks
The three axes unlock and the gimbal expands automatically when you press and hold the power button while the gimbal is off, allowing you to start working in just two seconds. Once the power button is pressed, the axes automatically lock and go into sleep mode, greatly enhancing the efficiency of any move or storage.
Wireless Shutter Control
The RS 3 Pro's Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology enables effective and dependable wireless shutter control. Every time you use them, previously paired cameras can be automatically reconnected, saving you a ton of time.
Integrated Controls
- The camera can slide forward or backward with millimeter-grade precision adjustments thanks to a newly added fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis, making it easier to achieve accurate balancing when switching lenses.
- Even when mounting large cameras, the RS 3 Pro can be balanced more easily thanks to its Teflon-coated components' reduced friction resistance.
- The three different gimbal modes—Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV—can be switched between by simply sliding the new gimbal mode switch. You can also customize the FPV mode selection to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom, allowing you to set up your tools and get going as soon as possible.
- Controlling zoom or focus is possible by rotating the front dial. Additionally, it can be programmed to control the shutter, aperture, ISO, or gimbal movements of the camera, making it incredibly practical for one-handed operation.
Third-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
The RS 3 Pro, powered by a new stabilization algorithm, offers 20% more stability than the RS 2 and handles low-angle shots, running situations, and switching between high and low positions with ease.
Get SuperSmooth Results
The RS 3 Pro's SuperSmooth mode, which increases motor torque to further improve stabilization and produce stable footage even in fast-moving situations or when using 100mm-equivalent focal length lenses, is enabled.
ActiveTrack Pro
Never before has tracking on the Ronin series been as precise or quick. Without the Ronin Image Transmitter, the next-generation ActiveTrack Pro can read images directly from the camera integrated into the optional LiDAR Range Finder. On the OLED touchscreen of the RS 3 Pro, you can directly monitor or frame the subject when using ActiveTrack Pro.
Large 1.8" OLED Touchscreen
In comparison to RS 2, the built-in 1.8" OLED full-color touchscreen has a 28% larger display, making it much easier to set parameters, monitor shooting progress, and frame your tracked subjects. Every setting has been improved with the user interface redesign. For better outdoor viewing with less power consumption, the OLED screen has a higher brightness rating than the LCD screen of the RS 2.
Carbon Fiber Construction
Similar to the Ronin 2, the RS 3 Pro arms are made from layered sheets of uncut carbon fiber. This increases stiffness and a lower weight to cope with even more difficult shooting environments, making it lighter and stronger than the jointed carbon fiber material used on the RS 2.
LiDAR Compatibility
Ronin 4D's LiDAR focusing technology is applied to the RS 3 Pro to make focusing simpler for handheld shooting. Within a 14-meter radius, the new optional LiDAR Range Finder (RS) can project 43,200 ranging points.
Remote Control
To precisely control the gimbal and focus, combine the High-Bright Remote Monitor with Ronin 4D Hand Grips, DJI Master Wheels, or DJI Force Pro. In order to accomplish more complex camera movements from a moving vehicle or with a jib, it is also equipped with a built-in gyroscopic sensor that can transform the remote monitor into a standalone motion controller for RS 3 Pro without the need for additional accessories.
Wireless Camera Control
The Mirror Control mode of the RS 3 Pro enables seamless wireless control from anywhere on set when it is mounted on carriers like a jib, cable cam, or vehicle suction cup. Without having to take your camera out of its case, this mode enables direct control of the primary menu functions for Sony mirrorless cameras via the remote monitor.
Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging
Mirror Control mode enables wireless control from any location on set when the RS 3 Pro is mounted on carriers like a jib, cable cam, or vehicle suction cup. Without having to take out your camera, this mode enables direct control of Sony mirrorless cameras' primary menu functions via the remote monitor.
Extensive Ports and Accessories
The Twist Grip Dual Handle, Tethered Control Handle, and the new DJI Briefcase Handle are just a few of the accessories that can be connected to the RS 3 Pro's dual RSA/NATO ports and battery port to adapt it to a variety of shooting needs.
DJI RS SDK
The DJI RS SDK is a developer protocol that DJI makes available to programmers and third-party hardware producers so they can give the DJI RS 3 Pro more features for complex scenarios.
