The Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 FE II is a lightweight and compact short telephoto lens perfect for portraits and low-light situations because it combines cutting-edge optics with sophisticated handling. It accomplishes size and weight reduction in its second generation while enhancing optical and autofocus performance. It uses a series of high-refraction and extra-low dispersion elements to create a glass surface that produces smooth, cream-like bokeh. It has 11 optical elements, divided into 8 groups. The lens has a nine-bladed aperture diaphragm for the same purpose. An STM motor has been added to the autofocus system, which acquires subjects quickly and quietly and can be controlled in a variety of ways with the help of a programmable AF Lock button and focus ring. The entire metal body of the lens has full weather sealing to keep out moisture, dust, and other impurities.
